Why How You Feel Is More Important Than How You Look

When you look in the mirror, how do you feel? Do you react in a negative way? Are you hard on yourself? Are you always judging yourself? If that’s the case, then you’re definitely not the only one. It’s something that so many of us tend to do naturally. However, this doesn’t make it right. Because you are you, and you are beautiful no matter how you look and feel. So, it’s important for you to start being a little kinder to yourself. One of the best ways to do that, is to realize that how you feel is so much more important than how you look. Because if you feel amazing, you will suddenly start to be much kinder to your appearance too. Don’t believe it? Well, let’s change that!

Feeling Energized

First of all, it’s so much more important to actually feel GOOD in your body. To be full of energy. To be happy. And to be healthy. It doesn’t matter what size or shape you are as long as you are feeling your best. So exercise. Eat well. Nourish your body - fuel it. Do what will make you feel amazing in your own skin.

Caring For Your Body

But then also, caring for your body really matters and applies here too. Because if you are not looking after yourself, you will not look or feel good. It’s really that simple! So, you need to think about everything from eye care to hair care to make sure that you’re looking and feeling your best. This means you need to take time out, book appointments, have treatments, and make more time for yourself. And sure, it will require effort, but it will always be worth it when you feel incredible.





Feeling Confident

Now, it’s easy to believe that you’re born confident or you’re not. But that’s not strictly true. Confidence can be adopted in the click of a finger. Because confidence is all about how you feel and how you act. You can just DECIDE that you’re going to be confident. You can dress well, carry yourself well, and you’ll be surprised by how much a difference that makes to how you feel.

Being Healthy

However one thing that matters so much more than what’s in the mirror, is your health. Do you feel healthy? Do you take care of yourself well? If not, then you’re going to want to start thinking more in terms of your body, looking after it’s well being, and not beating yourself up so much about the way you look.

Being Positive

But then there’s also the idea of being positive. Because if you’re someone that tends to find it way easier to be negative and see the bad things, then you may be thinking badly about your own body. And that’s never going to make you feel good! So, instead you need to teach yourself to be more positive. When you can start to think more favorably, you should notice that you feel like a brand new person - no matter how you look.
